Location: Europa Experience in Piazza Venezia, 6, Rome – Sala Sassoli

The round table started with Laudato Si’s call to protect our common home and take a holistic approach to tackling the climate crisis, biodiversity loss, and environmental inequalities. Scientists, businesses, institutions, and civil society came together to discuss how to combine the ecological transition with the digital transition, with the aim of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. Starting from Italian excellence in the circular economy and green economy, participants identified policies and technologies capable of making territories competitive, creating quality jobs, and strengthening social cohesion.
