The round table dedicated to agriculture and the food system sought to rethink the food system in an era marked by ecological and digital transitions. In a context where environmental, social, and cultural crises are intertwined, food must once again become a language of relationships, an act of care, and a place of shared memory. Starting from the principles of Laudato Si’ and Fratelli Tutti, participants explored how to integrate and harmonize different forms of intelligence—natural, artificial, spiritual, and communal—within a vision that protects our common home and promotes fraternity. Among the lines of discussion, one essential goal emerged: to guarantee at least one meal a day for every person. The overall objective was to outline a new ethos for the agri-food system, based on the value of connection and limitation, capable of orienting supply chains, policies, and innovations towards a culture of food as a relational good, a daily gift, and a universal right.
